DIY Baby Shower Gifts

I saw this cute tutorial on YouTube and decided to give it a try for two different baby showers I attended for my girls. It's a really simple and inexpensive way to show creativity for any mommy-to-be!

Who wouldn't want a cute/stylish baby wipe case?

[before]:
[after]:

You can find all your supplies at any arts & crafts store. All I used was a hot gun, glue sticks, fabric paint, rhinestones, and fabric of your choosing.
I chose black vinyl for the back of these cases.

And yes.....I had to bejewel something lol...

Let me know what you guys think? =-) Hope you have a great day decorating!

DIY Spiked Heels

I ADORE SPIKED HEELS!!...........unfortunately, my wallet?...does not.
So I decided to make my own less expensive version =-)
Example: Shoe by Ruthie Davis [materials]:

[1}: A drill.

(sorry I'm not good with tool/hardware names...I just took this from my dad's toolshead) Bascially...as long as you can carefully make a hole through the shoe, you're good. lol
[2}: Marker, pencil, or pen to draw where you want the spikes in.

[3}: An Ice-Pick, or something pointy to poke through the hole.
[4}: screw-on Spikes

[5}: Random wooden block. ->
(This will be your safety "don't-drill-through-my-fingers" block.)
[6}: Fav pair of boots, heels, or shoes of choice.
(the booties above are an old pair from Payless that I never wore)

[steps]:

[1]: Carefully drill holes into your shoe.

[2]: After the holes are made, poke through them with your tool of choice and even out/expand the holes so the screws and spike can slide through easily.

[3]: Screw in your spikes. Follow directions as indicated by www.studsandspikes.com

[4]: "Carefully"...rock out and party!!

DIY Bow Heels

In a world where heels are being accessorized with everything, you don't necessarily need to spend a fortune to get stylish shoes. All you need is a little glue and bows!

[materials]:

[1]: Gem Tac Glue / Crazy Glue / or anything strong.

{2}: Two Bows of your choosing.

( I got mine from Strawberry. It was originally on a head band lol )

[3]: Pair of your fav heels.

( Got mine from Nine West on sale baby! )

{4}: A couple of laundry clothes pins to hold everything in place while the glue dries.

[steps]:

[1]: Decide where to place your bows/accessories.

{2}: Place glue on desired area.

[3]: Lay bow on glued area and hold with clothes pins.

{4}: Repeat steps on other heel.

[5]: Wait overnight to let them completely dry.

Ta da! You're ready for a night on the town. It doesn't even need to stop with bows....add what ever and how many things you want.

Glue is a girl's best friend! ;-)

[DIY Makeup Palette]

If you're a makeup junkie like me...you prob have lil samples of eyeshadows everywhere. Don't you hate it when you can't organize yourself or forget about colors you had and then buy more? I actually got this idea from very creative girls on YouTube.
The tricky part is removing the eyeshadow (in metal container) from its original case. It's kinna hard to explain..I suggest you YouTube it lol. It involves a hair straightener and something pointy to poke with.

Once that's done, all you need is glue, empty DVD case, cute paper or anything you want to cover it with, and your shadows.

I arranged it this way...but there are plenty of options. If you haven't figured it out already.....YouTube is the shit!

I'm such an ass..I know

Hey there everyone...I apologize for the looooonnggg delay. It's been kinna hectic...but anyway I promise to update soon enough. I've actually did a bunch of interesting projects but my camera is being an ass. -_- Def updating soon!
